“ Decided to give this place a try today and I'm glad I did. Everything I got on my tray was delicious. I was a little skeptical about the turkey ribs at first but his BBQ sauce is just so good and the turkey just works with his recipe. Plus I imagine it's healthier than pork, so that's a win. Seasoned wings weren't the best I've ever had but they're definitely addictive, I could probably eat 20 of them, and they're full wings. The mac and cheese was banging, some other reviewer said they thought it came from a box. I want to know where that reviewer is getting boxed mac n cheese that comes out like this. Broccoli was also very good, he seasoned it and it had a little heat to it, definitely better than bland broccoli you're gonna get somewhere else. Tried my girlfriends collard greens and loved it. Never had them before but definitely will order them from this place again. Very well cooked, tastes like there's some hot sauce in it. Also tried my girlfriends baked beans, did not care for them but I don't eat baked beans anyway. I thought there was too much cinnamon in it for what it's worth. Wait time was long but we expected that. The food is cooked fresh, so order ahead if you're worried about wait times. I thought this was priced fair because you're not going to find food like this anywhere else in this valley. All of the menu options were just so different with flavor combinations that really work well with each other. ”

They take the time to make the food high quality and fresh and the have a very interesting menu with a variety of things to choose from me and my friend Luke went yesterday for the first time it was a great experience I got two ribs with two chicken with a drink and two sides combo I got fry's and Mac and cheese. I Loved the Mac and cheese the ribs and chicken were really good as well! I didn't eat the fry's just not my type of fry's my girl liked them tho my buddy got ribs and sides of Mac and cheese and fry's he put it back!!! Easy to say he really loved it wait time could very from 25 -45 min but it's well worth the wait!! but all around really good food and good experience make sure to tip em! ”

“ I went in a few weeks ago asking if they had anything vegan on the menu. Other than fries... they did not. The owner felt bad he could not accommodate and offered to make me a grilled cheese on the house, unknowing that cheese was not vegan. The gesture was extremely appreciated. I was happy with just the fries and they were so good that I called back several days later to order more when he informed me that he went and researched out Beyond Burgers and now offered them on his menu along with vegan cheese. Extremely rare in this day and age for restaurants to go out of their way to accommodate to this degree. He actually went a step above that and makes a house vegan burger now with BBQ sauce and marinated onions. Pretty much the only restaurant in the area open on Mondays as well! ”

“ I got the cheese steak and the cheese steak egg roll. The cheese steak egg roll was fantastic. It has plenty of cheese in it. The meat was cooked just right. Was very solid. The cheese steak hoagie was good, but the bread had not been streamed, grilled, or toasted so the bread was lacking a lot in that respect. Also the hoagie rolls were super thick and didn't feel like there was much filling just a ton of okay bread. It took a while to get the food but they had just recently open so I'm not sure if they were just getting going so it took a while or not. If it was not for the cheese steak egg roll I would probably give this place 3 stars but the egg roll was great and the cheese steak hoagie has a lot of potential, it just needs some slight tweaks to get it much better. ”

“ I’ve never been to a soul food place and liked EVERYTHING on the menu! First time I ordered I had issues with door dash I called and the owner took care of me. Food was so good we went back 2 days later and ordered more. We will be forever customers! The food is amazing, and the owner is an extremely nice and personable guy! He truly appreciates people supporting his business and it shows. I love that! Thank you to the owner for giving us home cooked meals like mama used to!! ”
